Be sure to cut the tires of the vehicle off the ground and secure them firmly. Let's push back the hydraulic piston by taking support from the caliper body and disc with a strong flat screwdriver. (Let's not forget to have loosened the cover of the brake hydraulic tank in advance, because there will be hydraulic return from the piston to the tank) We remove the lower screw (M6x20mm) holding the caliper with the appropriate wrench. For now, we just loosen the upper shaft. By turning our lower screw removed caliper up, we remove our linings. At this point, no parts are oiled or greased from the factory, but if desired, cleaning or painting can be done with rust remover sprays. This is your purely personal choice. If we continue to disassemble the disc, we now need to disassemble the upper shaft (M8x20mm). And now we remove our caliper and suspend it in a suitable place. We take care not to damage the hydraulic pipe of the place we suspend. we unscrew the M10x20mm screws on the back. Finally, the caliper belt is wasted. We unscrew the M6-Torx30 screws on the front surface of the disc. Since the disc has not been removed for years, it sticks to the hub. With a plastic hammer or wooden handle (definitely not a metal hammer), we tap the disc from the back and allow it to leave the hub. In one hand, we support it from the front and ensure that the disc does not fall hard on the ground. we install our new discs and pads following the exact sequence. Below are the required torque values for the screws. M10x20 mm 80Nm |
