Greetings everyone. I own a 2005 model 1.4 petrol/LPG 206 Design. My car has a false overheating problem that no one has been able to solve. The temperature gauge is around 60-70 degrees Celsius in the city, but every time I drive more than 40-50 km on the highway, the temperature jumps to the maximum and the brake light comes on. However, the car isn't actually overheating. Before the brake light comes on, the temperature gradually drops to 10-20 degrees Celsius, then suddenly jumps to the maximum. The fan comes on, and if I pull over, turn off the ignition, and wait 10 minutes, it corrects itself, but after another 30-40 km, the same thing happens again. The sensor and thermostat have been replaced, but it didn't fix the problem. If anyone has experienced this problem and found a solution, I would appreciate your help.

Glow plugs can overheat, you might want to have that checked too, brother.

We removed the top cover today; the gasket was blown.
