I became a new member of the forum, I already bought my peugeot. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to a very nice forum. I have a 1.4 - 75 hp peugeot 206 vehicle. The vehicle sees 3,000 revolutions at 80 km in 4th gear, and 3,000 revolutions at 100-110 km in 5th gear. The post is already known. I showed it to a passing master, test the test meat to say that the engine is not deaf, and that its speed performance is very good (the 2nd gear can see the speed of 80-90 km at 5,000-5,500 revolutions). But I don't want to use the vehicle over 3,000 revolutions, which is a fast gear up and max. It means speed of 110 km. From what I'm looking for, it looks like it's about the transmission. Can you help me with this, can this be done, is it costly? I live in Kayseri and our service here is a bit of a pile. If I can learn my problem before I go, I will act accordingly.

100 km / h with 3000 revolutions in 5th gear is quite normal. I think it's okay. I wonder what exactly you want to ask?

Master I was using peuget for the first time, I used Hyundai before, the 4th gear would come to 3,000 revs at 110,000 km speed, I would have shifted to 5th gear. This was strange to me in that direction, and if I am going to speed 120-130 km, it will not be under 4,000 revolutions. Think about the top speeds. This, in turn, increases the consumption and sound of the judge.

I think you are saying that the vehicle does not accelerate despite the high revs. I wonder how many cc of your Hyundai vehicle?

hyundai was 1,300 cc. But let me point out that my vehicle has no speed problem, after using it at high speed it says 120-130 at 5,500 rpm in 3rd gear, but I don't want it to go at 3,000 rpm in 4th gear when I go with 80, I think this is the feature of the vehicle and do I need to get used to it? Or is this a problem I'm looking for exactly the answer to this. Before I found this forum, they told me that when I wrote in the problem part of a service to the master, there might be a problem with the gearbox. I want to get some information before our service is too expensive and I wouldn't go there. Master, thank you very much for your interest.

there is absolutely no problem. this is about the gear diameters of the gearbox. I think the speeds you mentioned in those times are quite normal. Let's wait for the comments of other friends.

Hodja, there is no problem in your situation ... according to what you have told, everything is normal, do not worry in vain and do not spend money.

My friend, I am a new member and I just bought my lion. my lion is a 307. 1.4 16V 88hp ones. The speed he made when I saw 3000 in fifth gear is 110 however. but then it can reach very high speeds up to 5250 rpm, which is the maximum power speed. Though I have only been able to see 170 (1 month), but I did not look at how many revolutions. I think your 206 is normal. If you want to do it as you wish, gears will change from the gearbox as our teacher says. very long story costs a lot. you can add that money and get 206 GTI.

No dear, this is the normal situation for these vehicles, we use it that way, I thought if there was a problem. Otherwise, as you said, my car does not have a speed problem after reaching 5,000 cycles.

no problem, keep going.
As you use it, you will learn its temper.

No problem, our vehicles are not going very fast at low revs. Starts roaring and running away from 3000. By the way, was your car hyundai diesel before?

Hi
I have 1.4, 75 hp 206, lpg li, 1060 kg, 5th gear makes 110 at 3000 rpm, 88 at 2500 rpm, 4th gear makes 70 at 2500 rpm. I don't think it's a problem. Since the maximum torque is 2800 rpm, I think the minimum fuel consumption is 2800 dd.

hyundai is 1.3 but monster

hyundai was gasoline. Accents are already very agile cars, but I still do not compare with peugeot.

Honor master, I have never used an automatic transmission, but I do not understand much, but then the cars are in the same situation, both of them reach 3,000 revolutions at 110 km in last gear.
