Hello, I have been using my Peugeot 206 1.4xt gasoline-LPG (215.000 km) car only on gasoline for months and I have been hearing a rattling noise in my car. When it is idling (cold or hot doesn't matter) apart from the standard engine sound, I hear a rattling noise as if something is hitting or rubbing against something. Although the mechanics said it was normal, I arbitrarily had the valve adjustment done. Two valves were too tight, so they were loosened but the sound did not go away. A technician said the engine would open. The moment I heard the sound, I was shocked. There is nothing wrong with the car when it pulls or moves, it flies away :D but the sound accelerates at the same rate as the revs increase. I thought of LPG injectors but I don't use LPG. I am asking for help. This is the video of my car. The sound is not clear but do you think it is working normally? https://youtube.com/shorts/ZtRRi6oiChs?si=AsUc8QNM83NOtviA

Hello. The sound and vibration of the vehicle seem normal. It could be that something is touching each other due to the vibration. Could you open the oil cap and check the condition of the noise?

Ok, I'll try and tell you, today it went to two mechanics and both of them said the sound is normal and there is no problem. However, I'm dialing 206 under the same model from a nearby km road, I ask, the cars work quietly like an electric car, my car works stylishly and stylishly like a diesel car, the mechanics say it's normal, I explain it and there is no answer. You know, when you enter the street, I know it's my own car from the rattling sound.

[QUOTE=arifbsrn]Hello. The sound and vibration of the vehicle seem normal. It could be that something is touching each other due to the vibration. It's like closing the cap on the area where the noise is coming from and the sound decreases.

Hello again friends, I took the issue to two different mechanics, as I mentioned, the valve adjustments were done, our new mechanic said the rattling noise is coming from the top, if the piston hits, the sound would come from the bottom, this noise is related to officers. He said this is a valve adjustment, it doesn't work for everyone. We'll go back after the holiday and see if it works. Has this happened to you?

Is there any progress? I have a similar sound, even when I'm cruising at low speeds, I hear a clicking sound when I let off the gas. When I had the top cover replaced, the mechanic said there was a problem with the bottom cover. It had previously overheated, and there was a slight bend in it. That sound wouldn't cause any problems. He said it needed to be revised to reduce the noise, and I didn't pay attention to it. Afterwards, the sound doesn't always occur because it doesn't occur at speed. It's also less pronounced at idle, but it does occur when I'm cruising at slow speeds, and when I let off the gas.
