206 battery warning lamp

Hello friends, on the way home last night, the steering wheel suddenly hardened, then the battery warning lamp came on and then the car stopped completely while the engine was running. When I stopped the engine and started the car, there was no problem. The warning light went out and I went easily until the house. Is there anybody who can help my car may have caused 2005 model 206 gasoline
