Hello friends, last year I bought a 2005 model 206 automatic. 1 month before buying it, the entire transmission was overhauled (for 50 thousand TL). It hasn't had any problems for about 8 thousand km in 1 year. 3 days ago, while driving uphill in 3rd gear, the snow and s lights came on and put the transmission under protection. It goes away when I stop and start the car, but sometimes it doesn't reoccur for 10 km. Today I showed it to the mechanic who did the overhaul. I think there is no PP2000. He checked it with another tool and it was seen that it was just a pressure adjustment problem. The mechanic said that just changing the solenoid would be enough. These are chronic and they fail very often since they are not the original ones. Is it normal for a solenoid to fail after 8 thousand km in a brand new overhaul transmission? I read the forum a lot. Apart from this fault, I don't have any problems such as slipping on hills, late shifting, etc. I haven't encountered any other problems until the fault occurs. I need your valuable opinions, by the way, the mechanic quoted 6 thousand TL for the solenoids. He said he wouldn't charge labor since the overhaul was done last year. Do you think the price is reasonable? The original solenoids are available online, but I don't understand why the technician told me they didn't have any. Will this fix the problem?
