My 2002 1.6 automatic 206 does not shift to 5th gear. I noticed that after 90-100km speed he started to shout a lot. Normally, according to the accelerator pedal, it shifts between 2500 and 3000 rpm, but I noticed that it does not shift from 4th gear to 5th gear. I do 4000 4500 rpm and it doesn't go away. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem? I thought it could be the gearbox brain. The car lay for a long time. I'm just getting back together. The engine ECU has been changed, but I think there was this problem before the engine ECU was changed. I also have to go to the road this week by car, I will travel about 450 500 km, will it be a problem if I go slowly in 4th gear?

Your vehicle is fully Automatic transmission with al4 transmission. So it's 4 gears. So there is no such thing as 5th gear.
In the last gear, that is, in the 4th gear, it travels at a speed of 110 km at 3000 rpm.

I had the same thing when I first bought it, but it would be better if there were 4 gears, but unfortunately they put 4 :))

Is there any difference between having 4 gears and being 5 gears? Would it burn less if there were 5 gears for example.. How many cents do your cars burn per km?

Yes, 5 gears will burn less. For example, when it goes to 110, it turns 2500 instead of 3000 rpm
When that happens, the fuel drops.
The penny calculation will be wrong.
1.4 automatic gear. With 25 liters of lpg
Inner city 185- 200 km
Mine travels around 285-315 km between cities.

So if we put 5th gear, is it worth the cost of mastery etc.?

You have to spend one more car money. Gearbox, matching engine parts, brain, indicator, wiring etc. etc.
Many of the old style full automatics are 4 gears regardless of the car brand.
