Hello everyone, I have a 2011 model 308 diesel automatic. I bought it about a year and a half ago and it constantly gives me the "Electrical Circuit Fault" warning. When it gives this warning, the battery light and the STOP warning also light up on the dash, but this has no effect on the vehicle's driving, starting, or electrical system. Sometimes I don't see the warning at all for a month or two. Sometimes it gets too excited and keeps doing it for 10 minutes while driving. Of course, there's a beep every time it gives the warning. In short, it's incredibly frustrating. I've scoured the internet and talked to 5-6 auto electricians explaining the situation, but I haven't found anything about this problem. I've solved many problems online, with guidance from people and help from forums, etc., but this issue is driving me crazy. I can't find anything. The only complaint on the site is that someone who received this warning on their "Peugeot commercial vehicle" wrote, "The alternator's carbon brushes were changed, and the problem was solved." I can't be sure of that either. The mechanics aren't saying anything either. I'd be very happy if someone knows, has an idea, or can say there's a mechanic here who knows.

Hello sir. I have the same problem in my vehicle. Have you been able to solve the problem? What is causing it?

Unfortunately, sir, I still haven't been able to solve it. If you can solve it, please share it.

If the alternator regulator is faulty or if there is oxidation in the sockets, etc., these types of faults can occur while the vehicle is in motion. I recommend having the alternator measured.

Hello sir, I had the same error with my 2012 Partner Tepee. I drove the car like that in the city. Then I parked it and it wouldn't start. The steering became heavy and I left it like that. I came back to the car after 1-2 hours and after some effort, I started the car, but this time the steering was very stiff and nothing electrical was working. The doors, the stereo, the windows, none of them worked. I called the mechanic and he told me to bring the car. I brought the car from Tuzla, Istanbul, to Ümreniye, and although there were no lights and the steering was stiff (it gets a little soft on the road), it remained locked in the mechanic's shop that evening. The doors wouldn't lock. The mechanic called the next day. The regulator had failed and that's when he gave the error. I drove around a lot during the day and the battery had run out. When I told him about this, another mechanic said it was either the alternator or the battery, but it turned out to be a faulty regulator. We replaced it and were saved.

Thank you very much, sir, for the lengthy explanation. It's a very strange error. It got worse during the rain last night. I parked it in front of my house that evening. I started it up the next morning and there was no problem. And the strange thing is, it hasn't given that error or fault again for a week. Of course, it will give it again one day, but I really don't understand what it is. Was it giving you the same error intermittently, or was it giving the same error every day?

My vehicle gave an error once and I experienced these on the same day.

Hello everyone, I'm experiencing the same problems as the person who started this thread. There's no problem with the car running, but it keeps giving electrical faults and cutting out. They said it's a dynamo, so I had it measured, and there's no problem. If anyone has a solution to this problem, please let me know, for God's sake.

Has anyone solved this problem?

The problem was resolved by replacing the electronic circuit board in the fuse box above the battery. After replacing the circuit breaker, lock your vehicle and wait a while. The warning will then go away, so be aware. If you don't wait, the warning remains on the screen. Alphanet2025-06-05 12:04:42
