Friends I bought my 2005 model 1.4 HDI 307 `` I will take my vehicle 160 thousand km '' before I got a acquaintance that has been in maintenance in 147 thousand. He said his previous oil was castrol 5w30. When I look at the selection of suitable oil from Castrol's site, castrol comes out as a 5w30 start stop c2 room, the price of 4 liters varies between 150-170 TL. There are those who say 10w40 put, which one is appropriate and what is the difference between 5w30 a5 and c2? Thank you for your information about why the c2 model comes out for the vehicle without start stop.

Use 5w30 as oil, this is oil suitable for your vehicle. No need to put oil with start stop feature do not use castrol anyway. total will be sufficient. Oil is already ex-factory. It is also suitable in terms of price.

ACEA (Association des Constructeurs Européens d'Auto mobiles) has officially replaced CCMC since 01.01.1996. This organization defines the quality of engine oils according to European specifications. ACEA classifications use the acronyms A1, A2, A3 A5 for gasoline vehicles. Abbreviations B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 are used for diesel engines. For the Euro 4 standard or higher, there are oils with Low SAPS or Medium SAPS for gasoline or diesel engine vehicles with exhaust gas aftertreatment (ie thread filter). These oils also carry the identification codes C1, C2, C3 or C4. The abbreviations E2, E3, E4, E5, E6, E7, E9 are valid for diesel engines in commercial vehicles and business machines. The additional number indicates the performance criterion.

I understand, teacher, I think it will be more convenient to replace 5w30 with 5w30. Thanks.
