First of all, Hello everyone. I am over to buy the 2020 1.2 puretech 130 hp 308 vehicle, but when I searched about the engine, I came across users who had a lot of chronic problems in the past, although the best engine was selected for 3 cycles in a row. To illustrate some of the problems I mentioned, spark plug cut, tramer apricot wear and tear, lspi etc.

Hello there. I wonder if you found the answer to your question or did you pick up the car. I am also looking at the vehicle is very nice, but I have questions about 1.2 engine performance.

The first versions of the 1.2 engines had problems. Later, the engines were revised and fixed, but there are still users who have problems.

The problem was not in the engine, but since there is a timing belt mechanism that turns in oil, the maintenance of the belt as well as this mechanism is very important. Until 2017, in 1.2 puretechs, as this apricot did not meet certain wear characteristics, it was torn and the pieces blocked the oil pump and the top cover remained without oil. This is also an important problem. With the strap replacement plus the new PSA software, the problem is solved. The LSPI problem in all downsize engines theoretically exists in this engine, its solution is 1.6THP end L5 coded spark plugs. These are what I know until now. Other than that, he has no problem. By the way, there are 1.2 THPs that exceed 2yuzbini in Czech.
