Hello, I have a diesel car with 280,000 km mileage. It burns 1 liter of oil in 5,000 km mileage. I see blue smoke when loaded or when loaded without warming up. I wonder if it is from the turbo or the piston ring. I don't know exactly, or both. The mechanic said there is a slight gap in the turbo shaft, but he said it is not that. I used Shell Total oil. I don't want to put 1060 oil. It will damage the oil pump. I just changed that too. What do you recommend? I also see sweating in the turbo pipe. I need your help about piston rings or turbo. I wish you safe driving.

Sir, don't mess with oils like 10w60. Don't use anything other than 5w30 and 5w40 for an HDI engine. Don't load the car until it's warmed up. Have a reputable mechanic check it. There might be a simple reason.

Have a compression test done on your vehicle. This test will tell you whether the oil burning is due to the turbo or the piston rings.
